MOVE-IT Centre for IT in Mobility and Traffic

The Centre for IT in Mobility and Traffic, established at the Institute of Land and Sea Transport Systems, provides an adequate soft- and hardware environment for both, students and teachers. Thus, MOVE-IT Centre concentrates on computer aided system layout and design as well as on process simulation, computer based system and process analysis and optimization of traffic flows and all related programming.

Centre of Human-Machine Systems

The Centre of Human-Machine Systems, established in 1993 at the Department of Psychology and Ergonomics, is one of the most important focal points of research at our university. The research focuses on new technologies for human-machine interaction that support the human and offers new interaction techniques to design interaction in a natural and efficient way. Major activities are the provision of methods to optimize the evaluation of human-machine systems, based on the knowledge of human perception and information processing. Worth to be mentioned is also the development of human-machine systems which automatically adapt according to workload and performance, and the development of emotional as well as of multimodal human-machine systems.
